Do you guys accept cash?
No, we no longer accept cash. All payments are to be made by bank transfers under your name or company name.
What happens if I let my subscription expire?
If your subscription expires, the USD bank account and your NuMoney account close. If you like to re-open your account in the future, we will impose an account re-opening fee.
What happened to NuMoney Exchange?
NuMoney Exchange that we had launched earlier, has been shut down in Singapore. In its place, we have the new NuMoney Broker service that you are seeing on this website today.
We closed the exchange down to comply with the payment services bill for which we are not licensed to operate a cryptocurrency exchange in Singapore.
Can I deposit funds with my corporate account?
Yes, you can, with our corporate subscription plan.
I want to buy coins, how long will it take from account opening to receiving the coins in my wallet?
Six business days for a new account, on average. Three business days to open an account, and three business days for the fund transfer to clear.
It might take longer if the information needed from you is not furnished on time or if there are complications arise during the process.
Will NuMoney help me set up a wallet?
All NuMoney members get a free Ledger Nano S as a welcome gift, of which we help you set up your device to store your coins.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep your coins with us via NuMoney Cold Storage service that will keep your coins secure and insured.
Is NuMoney regulated under the Payment Services Act?
NuMoney is a cryptocurrency broker. That means, we provide assistance in helping you invest or liquidate cryptocurrencies.
An analogy to this is that instead of invest in stocks with our account: we help you to open stock accounts and provide instructions to help you deposit funds.
Beyond brokering, we also offer auxiliary services such as cold storage and training to bridge the divide between the experts and the laymen in accessing cryptocurrency assets as a form of investment.
What happened to NuMoney OTC? How is the new NuMoney different from the old NuMoney?
NuMoney OTC, the business model that we launched with, has been shut down in Singapore to comply with the payment services bill. Also, we were not able to keep any bank account open due to the paranoia that our local banks carry towards cryptocurrency businesses.
In its place, we have the new NuMoney Brokerage service that you are seeing on this website today. This brokerage service allows us to continue servicing our customers in selling and buying cryptocurrencies without limits, without the need for support of local banks, all while complying with local regulations such as the Payment Services Bill.
In effect, NuMoney has pivoted itself from a position of an exchange into that of an advisory service.
